Colophon: [Preliminary signature text] Wayzgoose '83 is the Fifth Annual gathering of Private Press Printers, Hand Bookbinders & Hand Paper Makers & others involved in the Book Arts. It also celebrates the 300th Anniversary of the first recorded Wayzgoose in 1683. It was sponsored by Brights Wines Limited , Grimsby Public Art Gallery with Assistance from John Deere Limited, Grimsby Public Library, Ontario Arts Council, Leslie Smart & Associates. This introductory signature, in an edition of 100, is the contribution of the Grimsby Public Art Gallery. The types used are hand-set Goudy Medium roman & italic with Goudy Open for the half-title. The Frontispiece was reproduced by offset lithography in the Printing Department of John Deere Limited
